The EB30HD2R-MN from Embrionix is a medium-reach coaxial video SFP (emSFP) module designed to receive two SDI signals, including 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, and DVB-ASI, over 75-ohm coaxial cables via HD-BNC connectors. Notably, it supports video pathological patterns at all specified rates, ensuring reliable performance even under challenging signal conditions. The integrated equalizer features DC restoration to compensate for the DC content of SMPTE pathological test patterns, thereby maintaining signal integrity. Moreover, the module is SMPTE compliant, adhering to standards such as ST-424, ST-292, and ST-259, which guarantees compatibility with a wide range of broadcast equipment.
