Electronic Components are intended to be connected together, usually by soldering to a Printed Circuit Board, to create an electronic device with a particular function. Most electronic components are either SMD (Surface mounted device) or Thru-Hole (Mounts through the board). Electronic components are commonly divided into 2 groups: Active Components and Passive components.
